Edit: No new page this week! I have a lot of book stuff to get done by the end of the month. Probably an update next week!
Pre-orders for the first Bloodline book are still open! Be sure to buy a copy to support the comic! [Link]
Power to the people! Down with the man!
That’s right, Denrim has a reputation for being a jerk. Certainly doesn’t paint him in a good light.
Well, at this rate, not only will she leave town today, but Elain is going to have to run after her, just as soon as she gives the idiot head ham here a piece of her mine at high volume that is.
*mind
dumb autocorrect
Wow! An angry mob! That’s exactly what Ember needed to save her!
Ember’s eyes turn red in 10… 9…
I think that you should put up an info page on all the races currently in the comic, I am currently wondering what the difference is between a learim and quelladar. (I hope i spelled that right.)
Good suggestion, might do that at some point. As a temporary solution: Learim are green and proficient with nature magic. Tennin consider them to be scarce and valuble. Quelladar are black with patterns, and have proficiency/ resistance to dark magic. There were Quelladar on both sides during the great war, so opinions of them are mixed.
The crowd is starting to get rowdy. So Denrim is the reader’s name. Looks like he wasn’t thinking of the crowd, and by the sounds of it he is already quite infamous. I would assume either he was reported before, and the higher ups didn’t do anything to him or at worse was just given a warning.
Now the question is why would Elane of all guards in Tenguard send someone as infamous as Denrim to get Ember. Unless she informed the guards as a whole and Denrim’s team just happen to run into Ember first. At least now that the crowd is starting to gather perhaps this might attract a more reputable guardsman over.
There is about one thing that can help Denrim out, and that is if another reader be it a civilian reader or another team of guards happens by. So the crowd can just as easily turn on her if a more reputable reader corroborates with Denrim’s claims that Ember is a demon. So Ember at the moment is safe, but I wouldn’t recommend her to linger around here for long.
The girl on the left side reminds me a lot of Veera ( form of the ears and colors). They look like Merchants, but I think there is more to it^^ . Still I´m not sure if these 3 Merchants or what ever they are will be enough to “persuade” these three guards to let Ember go.
II have a feeling that Denrim is going to try and prove that she’s a demon… ALSO, big mistake on Denrim’s end for calling someone sub demon in public.
If he had just -not- said “subdemon” then this mission would have been much easier.
Thats odd he is going to give up that permotion so easily and just let a demon go that is very odd.
I’m so wanting to see said ‘captain’ get his butt handed to him and dropped off in front of denrim’s own boss, along with a not so subtle note that they need to keep the racist in line or someone else will, permanently.
Captain dimwit (sorry, denrim) is setting the stage for a revolt.
He thought she was a Learim. I’m gonna assume that’s because blue and green are often lumped as the same colors in some languages in the past.
I recall that Sarladar/Domestics aren’t particularly associated with blue fur color, but is there reason why the Learim would be, though? Hmmm.
Either that or dogs are colour-blind…
