Interesting, Tavara seems to be oddly matching Bernin’s fighting style this page. Could it be that deep down, past all the dirty tricks Tavara is just a reckless magic slinging slugger like Bernin?
Could this be another reason Veera beat Bernin so easily last time? Does Veera have a lot of experience with Bernin’s fighting style from sparring with her sister?
I hope Tavara doesn’t end up dead so soon. I’m not sure why but I feel a bit sorry for her. Besides, it is nice for there to be a character around for the rather stoic Veera to interact with.
Pretty much the same story here as Rudy’s.
I found this comic some days ago, started reading 2 days ago.
Had an overnight camping trip – then finished today :>
For the record: (and arguably authour :>)
Engaging story, nice complex characters in a sort-of-black-and-white world that are still difficult to place wrt morality.
Especially Lupa is interesting. Very protective, doesn’t seem to cause much harm, and respects individual choices – yet also worships this dark god?
While Flint does continuous sacrificing.
Some of the other followers seem to be pretty pragmatic about it, ‘there’s no other way so..’
I’m looking forward to some day hear more about gods and magic and how it is related – overall things seem to make sense which is the nice part and also kind of a sign (I think) that someone thought long and hard about it 🙂
Hello, glad to hear you’re enjoying the story so far! It’s always cool to see people share their thoughts on the comic.
We will definitely be seeing more about Lupa, Flint, and the Veeki family as the story progresses. There’s a lot that I’m excited to talk about!

The special effects turned out great in this one, w0lf!
Tavara must be really committed to that move up in the air like that. Where’s she going to land?
It’s worth remembering that Tavara isn’t allowed to kill him, which could be requiring her to hold back…
