Something tells me that whole window turning red is a serious mood with how the actual blooddrop is still distinguishable.
I wonder if the demons are attacking?
I mean it’s a walled city and potentially a great place for the demons to smuggle things out of Tennin lands. I wonder if Ember being there and figuring out, she was being watched tipped the scales of letting this town stand and using it to burn it down and collect the new potential demon?
So, trying to remember the metaphysics of the setting…
Death magic opposes life magic, represented by the green race of tenguard.
Dark magic opposes light magic, and both aggressively recruit from all races
Decay magic WAS opposed by Preservation magic, but the preservers were wiped out and their god killed
Solar magic is opposed by Arctus magic
Lunar magic exists, and it’s classic werewolf physical magics.
There is a goddess Twili, with a star symbol.
The Tenguard implies ten races. (of wolves? with nonwolves treated with suspicion as lesser demons. Non-evil races?)
That’s one heck of a blood moon. Though maybe it’s just something Ember is seeing herself. The town could be under attack, but Ember didn’t seem to have heard any thing. Yes it is raining, but it seem as if she recognized something. Something she fears that knocks her off her feet.
Perhaps Flint has is paying the town a visit? That’s just about the only thing that might scare her that much. Or a legion of undead shambling by since they were talking about a crypt earlier. Whatever it is it’s something that she can’t just barricade herself and wait it out.
Now the question is if the town is being attacked is it because of Ember or was it just something preplanned kind of like how Echo was scouting out to raid the village Ember was at, but backed-off on that decision.
I think she saw a corpse
Disturbing, but love it

She is just freaking out over the rain again, nothing to be concerned over, move along nothing to see here.

Has anything else been revealed, of the sort?
june bugs hitting your window can be scary, but that one hit different.

Maybe this is a flashback to why Ember doesn’t like water…
Images in window may be closer than they appear, also more malevolent. Time to leave.
