Why are their eyes closed like that when they’re talking to each? It looks kind of weird. Are the first five panels like a freeze frame from different angles, all occurring over the course of less than a second?
I just found your webcomic, and I have to admit, I am very impressed. The story is compelling. The art, while a bit unrefined in spots, has a very likable and personal quality to it and will no doubt improve with time as all webcomics do. I look forward to seeing where the story goes, it has been a while since I have empathized with any character the way I empathize with Ember. I love it.
Wow! I didn’t expect you to actually respond. Yeah. I do very much enjoy the story so far, and as much as I love Ember, I wish her many interesting adventures and not too much heartbreak. ^_^
I love how Ember is like “oh god, now what do I do?” she’s very easy to sympathize with, and that’s what makes a strong story. If you can’t sympathize with the main character, you lose interest. So kudos to you for making a main character that can make the reader almost believe they are there with her.
This is a really good webcomic. The art is well done, too. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
I love the last “pannal” i like the hairstyle, the background, the perspective…
but the thing i love the most is Embers suprised look ;D

Naw, Ember is moving past them. The “eyes closed” thing is just a happy expression.
