So why did they just let Cole leave? I assume he is in just as much danger. Who in the world is Risaac Salavere? Were familiar with Kence, and Veera, but it seems Bernin and Ember are being targeted and used as a tool for their own gain. I guess Flint doesn’t really care that his children is being used by rivals that probably wants to discredit his bloodline?
So Ember has to choose between her safety or her freedom? Well I she better start making more Tennin friends like Elane and to an extent Denrim as they can help her if she chooses to stay in Tennin lands. Perhaps it maybe time to meet up with Bernin and try to reason with him and join up his group as she knows she will not be able to do this on her own. She said herself she needs answers and it will weigh on her heavily if she just gives it up. Maybe she can stay and travel back with Callum?
I don’t think Flint has much of a say in this. And Flint doesn’t care about his children. He cares about their use/worth as demons. The impression I got is that the Salavere’s are not trying to discredit the Memeelis bloodline as much as test/prove it weak (and Flint believes it’s strong). Discrediting a strong bloodline would not help their cause. But it all seems very political, everyone having their own agenda.
They didn’t ‘just let Cole leave’ as such, it seems to be that he made his own decision. And it appears as though magic can’t keep someone who has actively decided to leave (being completely unwilling to stay), if Lupa even has such power.
Given Cole has embraced his demon side, I doubt he’d be in any danger. They’ll want to keep the bloodline going, even if Cole is weak. A bird in the hand and all that…
The stronger shading really reduces the flattening effect, and it doesn’t look off any more. Good job! *thumbs up*
Not sure why Keine is so angry though… does he perceive Ember as being arrogant by assuming she was out of demons’ reach?
Maybe angry isn’t the right word. Indignant? He seems to be getting more aggressive as he goes on.
Great job with the expressions!

This is one of the best webtoons I have ever read so far.
