I do wonder how many other readers/soldiers will be rushing to Ember’s position now that she is probably emanating her demon presence now, and she’s in the keep… where the general is… a sudden demon presence suddenly appearing may be cause for alarm unless a message was already sent in-between pages about Ember so they know not to leave their positions.
Though how much big of a stretch did she make about Ember? Hopefully it isn’t too off that it would wear on the General Jonar’s patience. Though the bigger thing is Jonar may trust Elane, but other’s don’t. Is Ember going to have a Tennin now shadowing her as well as the demon? As a just in case measure to keep an eye on her, and to possibly execute the kill order if Jonar deems it so.
I and a feeling that Elane’s “truth stretching” is more truthful than she believes, at least “consequences” part.
